Type A – Some change gears included. No chuck – No cutter. Runs well, works fine – but will not hold a tight enough tolerance for us. The Type A machine’s have a bushing for the spindle and this one is worn. Can not get better than. 002 TIR with a new chuck on the machine. Head can be rotated more than 45 deg for Helical work. Our shaft and spline work is too tight on the tolerance for this machine. It will holds thousandths, but not tenths. If you are doing some coarse spline work with some tolerance it would be a good machine, or if you need some parts to get another one up and running. 3 Hole In Work Spindle.
